Summer's Comin!

Yes, summer will be here before we know it! I have an Elder's meeting tonight and tonight I will present a quick layout of the summer months for their approval. After the meeting, I will post the tentative schedule on the blog so that we can begin to prepare for the upcoming summer of 2010. Thanks!

Events in March

Well, March is the month of preparation for us in the youth group. We are getting our things together for LTC and Senior Sunday which both fall in April this year. It is hard to believe that LTC is only 3 and 1/2 weeks away! WOW! We also need to remember that we will have our LTC presentation and awards probably on Sunday, April 11th which is the Sunday after the weekend of LTC. For those of you who may not know, this is when the kids will present their presentations to the congregation on Sunday night. I know that the congregation really enjoys this time together.

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile!

Well, I need to apologize that I haven't updated the blog in such a long time. I guess I get caught up in the bulletin and the parentlink newsletter and forget the blog. Sorry to both of you who read this thing. HA! Of course, at this point, I have probably lost you too since it has been so long since I posted. In that case, I am updating this for my pure reading enjoyment. Aw yes, I feel much better getting all of that off of my chest.

Dream Team Meeting this Sunday afternoon!

Well, it has certainly been awhile since our last Dream Team Meeting and I wanted to make sure that the two people who check the blog occasionally knew that we had a meeting this Sunday afternoon! HA! At 4:00 PM we will meet in the library to discuss events and plans for this spring and summer. We will also spend some extra time discussing Senior Sunday since our plans are to have this event in April. Please come if you can!

Winterfest was awesome!

Well, I think we have found a new youth conference to look forward too every January! Winterfest was so much fun and so encouraging and uplifting. I really enjoyed hanging out with Alyssa, Alece, Ian, Barrett and Debbie. We sure hope that more of you can join us next year! This year's theme was removing our veils that tend to blind us from the truths of God and they can also prevent those around us from knowing who we are. I can't wait until next year!
